Behavior Expectations/PBIS
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive school-wide approach that focuses on teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors, creating a supportive learning environment, and helping students develop social and emotional skills. By establishing clear expectations and recognizing good behavior, PBIS aims to improve student performance and reduce disciplinary issues. At MCHS, this approach is embodied through our P.R.I.D.E. framework, which emphasizes being Prepared, showing Respect, demonstrating Integrity, exhibiting Determination, and striving for Excellence.
Parents can utilize the PBIS Family Connection App to access their student's PBIS account.
