Tiger Baseball

The boys baseball team at MCHS competes with a tradition of effort, good sportsmanship and strong athletic ability. The program typically fields three teams varsity, junior varsity and freshman, making for a competitive selection process in the spring. The goal at all levels is to improve players, while emphasizing technical development, strong team mentality and a love of the game. Our experienced coaching staff brings forth a wealth of knowledge to our boys and has the ability to produce successful teams year after year. The team has laid claim to State Champion title in 1973.  The team frequently qualifies for the LHSAA playoffs with our boys reached the State Title games in 1971, 1973, 1989, and 2000.
